1. 1. Civil Servants are not eligible to apply
   2. Non-Indigenes are not eligible to apply.
2. The Referees names must be persons of standing, resident in Nigeria and to whom the Applicant is well known but not related to. One of these referees must be the Applicant's Principal of last school or College. It should be noted that a Board member or staff of the Students' Affairs Department or another applicant for Bauchi State Government Scholarship may not be named as referee.
3. If the Applicant has previously applied for a Bauchi State Government Scholarship, this fact must be stated in filling this form(Personal Data) and the result of the previous application(s) given.
4. The Students' Affairs Department need not give reasons for this rejection of any application and it will not enter into correspondence on the subject. The decision of the Board is final and applications are accepted only on these conditions.
5. As there is no deferment of awards, a new application form must be completed in full each time a candidate wants to start enjoying Bauchi State Government Scholarship, while extension forms can be issued where applicable.
6. Any failure to fill the application form correctly may result in its being rejected or its consideration delayed.
